Temporarily Promote Participants to Stage

For structured cohort programs (6–12 week instructor-led programs), there are moments where a participant voice deepens learning. Right now, promoting someone to presenter requires pre-assigning roles, which limits dynamic interaction. If educators need to switch to Zoom for discussion-heavy sessions, HeyStream may become a marketing/broadcast tool rather than a delivery tool for paid programs.A lightweight, host-controlled “raise hand → approve → temporary stage” feature could unlock cohort adoption without turning the platform into full open-mic Zoom. This would allow controlled interactivity while preserving broadcast structure.

How do you invite someone who is watching to the stage? Is there some setting to look for to allow this? I have been testing with. The guest and could not see any options from their perspective to raise a hand or be invited to come onto the stage

Hi Zakia, Just marking this as complete, as this was delivered last week and as seen on the live stream last Thursday. Completely forgot to update this item in the feedback board.

Absolutely agree here! This is an important feature for sure allowing for a break from the presentation for more community building.
